Who PennyPlan is for
PennyPlan is designed for the person with the least: a modest Android phone, patchy data, an irregular income and money spread across several places. If it works well for them, it works for everyone with more.
| Who | What their money looks like | What they need |
|---|---|---|
| A market trader | Daily, irregular income; cash, wallets, POS, weekly ajo | Log in seconds, ideally by voice; know whether today was a good day |
| A junior staff member or rider | Small monthly or weekly pay; one bank app, transfers, airtime, transport | Know how much is safe to spend until the next payday |
| A student | Allowance plus side gigs | Simple tracking and small wins to stay consistent |
| An ajo organiser | Cash and transfers from 10 to 30 members, tracked in a notebook | A clean record of who paid and who is due, with reminders (no money held) |
| A cooperative, employer or microfinance bank | n/a | Anonymous, aggregate wellbeing reports for their members. Never any individual’s diary |
Categories that match everyday life
